I’m selling a Bach Strad C tpt 239 bell with an S pipe. The horn is pretty old and shows its age, but that’s all for good reasons. It has been played in the St. Louis Symphony regularly and I’ve had it all throughout high school and my undergrad. It also advanced me to the finals in the ITG Solo Competition this year. The bell is stamped “Corporation” meaning that the bell is older and a lot of people think these older bells sound better. It’s one of the few Bach tpts that you can get away without using alternate fingerings – it’s really in tune! The horn plays very open and takes a lot of air, but it gets a great lyrical sound and has no problem projecting. It’s definately served me well and still deserves to be played. Email for pictures.
